The Institute of Contemporary Art Santa Fe and Trotta-Bono Contemporary invite you to a not-to-be-missed live panel discussion on the role of satire, irony, and humor in contemporary Indigenous art.

Held as part of the exhibition Reservation for Irony: Native Wit and Contemporary Realities, this event brings together four of the most vital voices in the field today: Kent Monkman, Cara Romero, Nicholas Galanin, and Tony Abeyta—each known for using wit and irony to expose distortion, reclaim narrative agency, and challenge colonial legacies through bold and nuanced work.

10:30 AM – Doors open with light breakfast fare and refreshments
11:00 AM sharp – Panel begins
12:30 PM – Program concludes
